Tucked away on one of Norwood’s most sought-after streets, this project began with a vision to transform an overlooked property into something extraordinary. Purchased at auction in October 2019, the site’s irregular shape and its adjacency to a creek presented both challenges and opportunities. Alongside our trusted design and build partners, Urban Habitats, we crafted a solution that embraced these unique characteristics, resulting in two detached dwellings that cohesively balance form and function.
While each home is distinct in aesthetic – one bold and dark, the other light and soft – they share a cohesive design language through minimal, refined palettes and thoughtful detailing. The result is a striking yet harmonious streetscape presence.
116A Edward found its owners in December 2020 through an off-market sale, while 116 Edward was secured mid-construction by enthusiastic buyers in November 2021. Today, both homes remain with their original owners, standing as a testament to our commitment to thoughtful design, strategic planning, and quality execution.
Edward Street continues to hold a special place in our portfolio – an example of how vision and expertise can redefine a space and create homes that are both functional and inspiring.
