Malcolm Street was introduced to UH Projects by a trusted local real estate agent. They recognised our potential to transform the property into something exceptional. Acquiring the site in 2023 marked a major milestone for our team. It gave us the opportunity to bring to life a long-held aspiration – to create a substantial, stand-alone home in one of Adelaide’s most picturesque suburbs.
Soon after securing the land and finalising the design, we were fortunate to reconnect with a like-minded individual who shared our enthusiasm for the location and the vision. The result was a seamless sale of the property to someone who truly valued the intent behind the design.
Guided by the expert architects at Urban Habitats, the home reflects our design philosophy. Refined materiality, generous yet balanced proportions, and a strong connection to its setting. A positive collaboration with Council, paired with the quality of the design, facilitated a smooth and efficient development approval process. Construction commenced in April 2024.
Malcolm is now completed, and the home's quality and craftsmanship are on full display. While parting with this project comes with a sense of nostalgia, we are incredibly proud of the result and thrilled to know that it is in the hands of someone who shares our admiration for its design and purpose.
